It can be served with sliced bread or enjoyed as a healthy appetizer on its own. The refreshing nature of this dish makes it particularly suitable for summer months, making it a great addition to a healthy diet and balanced body weight regime.

Preparation

When preparing, you can also use sour cream high in fat if you want more thickness and richness, and you can also make a combination of the two in a ratio of your choice, or you can use Greek yogurt as well.

A traditional recipe for a similar dish, Tarator, uses yogurt as a base.

Ingredients
500 ml sour milk
200 grams of cooked bulgur
2 cm fresh horseradish
fresh mint leaves to taste
1 French baguette

Instructions
Boil the bulgur and after it cools down, add it to the sour milk. Grate the fresh horseradish, finely chop the fresh mint leaves and mix. Cut slices of French baguette or bread of your choice, toast the bread and add some sour milk with bulgur on top.
Serve with a spoonful of cooked bulgur in the middle, a little grated horseradish and mint leaves.
You can also consume this delicious dish as a dinner without bread.
