Ingredients

For the Marinade

  • 300–400 g pork, cut into 2–3 cm cubes
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp starch
  • Optional: ½ tsp grated ginger or finely chopped garlic

Veggie & Pineapple Mix

  • ½ fresh pineapple (crosswise, hollowed for serving)
  • 100 g pineapple, diced
  • 1 small zucchini, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil

Rice

  • 150–180 g cooked rice

For Garnish

  • Fresh green onions
  • Sesame seeds

Optional Additions

  • Lime for freshness
  • ½ tbsp honey for a caramelized flavor

Preparation

Marinade (5–10 min)

  1. Mix the pork with soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, salt, and starch.
  2. Add ginger or garlic if desired.
  3. Let it marinate briefly.

Vegetables & Pineapple (3–5 min)

  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok.
  2. Add zucchini and bell peppers; stir-fry for 2–3 minutes over medium heat, keeping them crisp.
  3. Add pineapple cubes and stir-fry for 1–2 more minutes.

Cooking the Pork (8–10 min)

  1. Add the marinated pork to the wok and stir-fry over medium-high heat, occasionally stirring, until golden and cooked through.
  2. The marinade sauce will thicken at the end thanks to the starch.

Serving

  1. Fill the hollowed pineapple half with cooked rice (150–180 g).
  2. Top with the cooked pork, vegetables, and pineapple pieces.
  3. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
  4. Add a few drops of lime for freshness.

💡 Tip: Toast the sesame seeds briefly before sprinkling for a golden color and crunchy taste.
