🍠Sweet Potato – Whole Skin Baked

Baked sweet potato in its skin retains all nutrients and is a delicious delicacy, prepared very easily with minimal effort. The result is a healthy and filling meal.

Soft inside, with a buttery texture, it literally melts when fully cooked. Adding a little butter enhances the flavor, and fresh thyme, a pinch of salt, and black pepper round off the taste perfectly.


For 2 servings

  • 2 sweet potatoes
  • 2 small cubes butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh thyme leaves

Preparation

  1. Wash the sweet potatoes and dry them thoroughly.
  2. Pierce them with a fork in several places to prevent cracking during baking.
  3. Rub with a little olive oil and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 50 minutes to 1 hour, until soft.
  5. Serve on a plate, cut open in the middle, add a small cube of butter while still hot, season with salt and black pepper, and garnish with fresh thyme leaves.

The butter melts, creating a rich, creamy interior.
