Directions

If you want to be unique in the kitchen and always surprise with creativity, this simple and quick salad can become a real delight for your guests.
It takes only 10 minutes to prepare, and you can keep it in the refrigerator for several days wrapped in plastic wrap and serve it when needed.
This is a traditional salad that my mother often made, and I added a little creativity to serve it in my own way.
You can shape small balls or a bigger one, depending on your creativity. Toasted walnuts and sesame seeds give it extra flavor.
Ingredients
- 100 g cottage cheese (or soft cheese, not very salty)
- 250 g cream cheese
- 80 g walnuts (chopped)
- 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 1–2 pomegranates for rolling and decoration
Preparation
- In a pan over medium heat, add the finely chopped walnuts and sesame seeds. Toast for a few minutes until they acquire a nice aroma and golden color.
- In a bowl, mix the toasted walnuts and sesame seeds with the cottage cheese and cream cheese until smooth.
- Refrigerate the mixture for 15 minutes to set.
- Shape into a ball with greased hands and roll in pomegranate seeds.
- Serve and decorate as desired.
Storage: The prepared mixture or finished ball can be stored in the refrigerator covered for a few days.
Enjoy your meal!
