Italian pasta prepared at home even if you are a beginner in the kitchen? Yes, you can easily prepare this restaurant portion like a professional without any experience and in two minutes, with only two ingredients.

After many tried recipes for this Italian pasta, I came up with the easiest preparation that can be served directly and that will delight your guests, both in the way of preparation, and in the way of presentation.

All you need is good quality butter and good quality parmesan cheese, and at the end you can add touch of black pepper if you prefer.

For two servings Italian Pasta Fettuccine

60 grams of butter

6 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese

water as needed

Boil the pasta in boiling water with sea salt. If you have fresh pasta, it takes only one minute to be al dente, if you buy it as dry pasta, there is usually an instruction on the package as to how long it takes to cook it depending on the composition of what it is made of, durum wheat, with eggs or without eggs.

While the pasta is cooking, prepare two serving plates. Grate six tablespoons of cheese, it’s best to use a good quality whole piece of Parmesan instead to bought grated, as there’s a lot of difference in quality and the end result you’ll get in terms of taste.

In a large plate, add a 60 grams piece of butter in the middle.  The butter should be cold, straight from the fridge.

Spread the cooked pasta over the butter, reserving some of the pasta cooking water to add as needed at the end.

At the top of it, add the grated parmesan cheese and with a fork and spoon start mixing the ingredients until they are evenly combine, then add the hot water in which the pasta was cooked.  About 7 to 10 tablespoons of water are needed for two servings and depending on what kind of pasta you use.

But how do you determine how much water you should add?

If the pasta is thick and sticky in the end, then add another two to three tablespoons of water, or until it is silky and makes a sound when you stir it.  It is best to add water gradually one to two tablespoons at a time to keep control of the thickness.

At the end, sprinkle with black pepper and enjoy the taste!

If you wish, you can add a little fresh garlic or garlic powder!

This portion can be very impressive and you can look like a real chef at home while preparing it for your guests and have fun at the same time.

Have a good appetite and I encourage you to experiment to a better recipe always!
