Late Brunch in 10 Minutes – Egg and Ham!

You started the morning later and you need a quick idea that will saturate your carvings for a long time, or you are short in time, then, this brunch prepared in one minute is great idea for you…

Or maybe you want to impress someone with your creativity with a portion that will look like from a restaurant, then I guess this is a breakfast with which you will conquer the goal.


You can combine it with ham, or bacon, and cheese of your choice.

I recommend French brie because it complements very well with the liquid  egg yolk.

It is best to use an organic egg or egg streight from the fridge to avoid salmonella as the yolk remains liquid inside.

Bake in the oven for ten minutes and serve hot and crunchy.

Cut one French baguette in half. Remove the ends to get a flat surface on both sides and level so you can be sure that it can stand upright.
From the one side, carve the inside (the soft part of the bread) and fill it with a one piece of ham.
Dip with your fingers to be sure that ham is on the bottom, so you can have enough space, and then add small piece of cheese brie.
Cover the top with one whole egg, be carefull not to break the the egg yolk.
Finally, add parsley carefully so the egg yolk not to run out.
At the end with a teaspoon, add olive oil on top and sideways on the bread.
This will make the bread crispy while baking.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 10 minutes.
Serve while warm with liquid yolk.
Before serving you can cut small piece of the bread and enjoy the liquid inside of the dish.
