✨ Homemade Sugar-Free Marzipan – Magic from Just a Few Ingredients! ✨
I’m sharing my healthy, quick take on this classic sweet treat.
Each ball hides a whole almond for the perfect crunch, while the combination of honey and almond flour creates a rich, natural aroma.
Ready in just 10 minutes, these marzipan balls are perfect for a little guilt-free indulgence. 💛
Ingredients:
- 200 g almond flour
- 2 tbsp honey (add 1 extra tbsp if you prefer a softer texture)
- ½ tsp almond extract
- 12 whole almonds (for the center of each ball)
- 1–2 tbsp cocoa powder (optional, for richer flavor)
- 2 tbsp finely chopped almonds (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the dough
In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, honey, and almond extract.
Mix with a spoon or with your hands until a smooth, soft dough forms. - Optional additions
Add cocoa powder and/or finely chopped almonds if you want a more luxurious taste.
Mix until evenly incorporated. - Shape the marzipan balls
- Divide the dough into 12 equal portions.
- Flatten each portion in your palm.
- Place one whole almond in the center.
- Close the dough around it and roll into a smooth ball.
- Chill
Arrange the marzipan balls on a plate and refrigerate for 15–20 minutes to firm up.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 2 months.
