Crispy and juicy chicken patties made from ground chicken breast, served in burger buns with fresh lettuce, are definitely fresher and tastier than those from a sandwich shop.
For the full experience, I recommend preparing soft burger buns as per the recipe linked below.
Ingredients for Chicken Patties:
- 500 g ground chicken breast
- 1 egg yolk
- 40 ml milk
- 25 g breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder

- 1/3 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes
- 1/2 tsp dried celery
- 200 g breadcrumbs (for coating)
- 3 beaten eggs (for coating)
- 4 burger buns
- 4 lettuce leaves
- Cooking oil for frying
Preparation:
- In a bowl, combine the chicken and spices. Mix with your hands to form a soft, uniform mixture.
- Divide into 4 parts, shape into balls, then flatten into patties.
- Coat patties in beaten eggs, then in breadcrumbs.
- Fry in heated oil over medium heat for 3 minutes per side.
- Place patties on paper to drain excess oil.
- Brush burger buns with butter and toast them in a pan.
- Prepare mayonnaise sauce (recipe below).
- Spread a tablespoon of sauce on the bun, add lettuce, and top with the chicken patty.

Mayonnaise Sauce:
- 1 egg
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 1/5 tbsp mustard
- 1 1/5 tsp white vinegar
- 1 cup oil
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes
Blend all ingredients until smooth.
