Easy, delicious & ready in minutes – no oven needed!

These butter-roasted almonds are a quick, versatile, and flavorful snack, ready in just 5–10 minutes using only a pan.

They are perfect as a healthy snacksalad topper, or cocktail nibble.

Three simple variations make them suitable for every taste.


Basic Pan-Roasting Method (No Oven)

Ingredients (Base):

  • 2 cups raw almonds
  • 2–3 tbsp butter (unsalted recommended)

Cooking details:

  • Time: 5–10 minutes
  • Heat: Low to medium
  • Tip: Stir constantly to prevent burning

Method:
Melt the butter in a wide pan over low–medium heat. Add the almonds and toast, stirring frequently, until they are golden brown and fragrant.

Remove from heat and finish according to the chosen variation below.


1️⃣ Salted Butter Roasted Almonds 🌿

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almonds
  • 2–3 tbsp butter
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Fresh thyme (optional, for garnish)

Preparation
Toast the almonds in butter until golden and aromatic. Transfer to kitchen paper to absorb excess butter. Sprinkle with sea salt and garnish with fresh thyme.

2️⃣ Honey & Cinnamon Roasted Almonds 🍯

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almonds
  • 2–3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • A few drops vanilla extract
  • 3 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp granulated sugar
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation
Toast almonds in butter until golden. Add honey and vanilla extract, stirring to coat evenly. Remove from heat and immediately sprinkle with the cinnamon, sugar, and salt mixture. Transfer to aluminum foil or kitchen paper and allow to cool and set.

3️⃣ Spicy Roasted Almonds 🌶️

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almonds
  • 2–3 tbsp butter
  • Sugar (to taste)

Preparation
Toast almonds in butter until golden and fragrant. Remove from heat and toss with a mixture of sugar, cayenne pepper, and sea salt. Spread on foil or parchment paper and let cool.
