🥦 Grilled Asparagus with Grated Parmesan and Grilled Lemon Slices
📝 Ingredients (for 2–3 people):
- 500 grams fresh asparagus (thin or medium stalks)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 30–40 grams fresh grated Parmesan (or as desired)
- 1 lemon, sliced into thin rounds
- (Optional) a little garlic powder or chopped fresh garlic
🔥 Preparing the Asparagus
Cut off the tough bottom part of each asparagus stalk.
Drizzle with olive oil, add salt and black pepper to taste, and optionally add some garlic.
Preparing the Grill
Heat the grill (or grill pan) to medium-high heat.
Place the asparagus and lemon slices directly on the grates.
Grill the asparagus for about 4–6 minutes, turning occasionally, until lightly charred and slightly tender.
Grill the lemon slices for 2–3 minutes on each side, or until they develop a caramelized flavor and aroma.
Serving
Arrange the asparagus on a plate.
Grate Parmesan over the asparagus while it’s still warm. The cheese will melt slightly, adding rich flavor.
Garnish with a few grilled lemon slices on top.
Drizzle with a few drops of fresh lemon juice for extra freshness.

You can add roasted walnuts or almonds if you like.
