Directions
Burrata cheese is Italian cow’s cheese made from mozzarella and cream. The outer casing is solid thin mozzarella cheese, while the inside contains stracciatella that gives soft texture.
It tastes milky, rich and buttery with a suitable, creamy sweetness.
It is a good source of protein and calcium, high in fat and calories, so it should be consumed in moderation as part of balanced diet.
It’s best to serve on room temperature, and always is best eaten as soon as possible after is made. If you buy from market usually it has 4 to 5 days until expires.
It is stored in water, and you need to drain that water before serving.
Season it simply, you can add to pizzas, pairs great with olive oils, sherry tomatoes, truffles and you can use it in caprese as well.
