This lip balm is a small ritual for soft, healthy lips. Rich in natural oils, it nourishes and softens the lips, while ground hibiscus gives a natural pink tint without any chemicals, enhancing a fresh look.

Perfect for daily use or as part of your evening bedtime routine. Homemade, simple, and completely paraben-free.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon shea butter or cocoa butter
  • ½ teaspoon ground dried hibiscus
  • 2–3 drops vitamin E

Instructions

  1. Melt the coconut oil and shea/cocoa butter over a double boiler.
  2. Add the ground hibiscus and vitamin E, stirring until fully combined.
  3. Pour into a clean jar or small lip balm molds.
  4. Let it set for 10–15 minutes at room temperature or in the fridge.
  5. Apply as needed, especially before bedtime.

Tips & Notes

  • Hibiscus may give a pink-red shade, sometimes more intense on lighter lips, so it’s ideal for nighttime use.
  • Store in a cool, dry place for longer shelf life.
  • Can be used daily to refresh and soften lips.
  • For extra hydration, gently exfoliate lips with a sugar or honey scrub before application.
