Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon shea butter or cocoa butter
- ½ teaspoon ground dried hibiscus
- 2–3 drops vitamin E
Instructions
- Melt the coconut oil and shea/cocoa butter over a double boiler.
- Add the ground hibiscus and vitamin E, stirring until fully combined.
- Pour into a clean jar or small lip balm molds.
- Let it set for 10–15 minutes at room temperature or in the fridge.
- Apply as needed, especially before bedtime.
Tips & Notes
- Hibiscus may give a pink-red shade, sometimes more intense on lighter lips, so it’s ideal for nighttime use.
- Store in a cool, dry place for longer shelf life.
- Can be used daily to refresh and soften lips.
- For extra hydration, gently exfoliate lips with a sugar or honey scrub before application.
