Poppy milk is a powerful natural remedy with many benefits that you can easily prepare at home and use regularly.

Poppy seeds are known to keep the thyroid gland functioning properly, and are a good source of healthy fats and proteins that help build muscle.

This milk is rich in special nutrients, such as fibers that act to relieve problems and pains such as bloating in the stomach and digestive system.

It strengthens fertility in the female population, it is excellent for peaceful sleep and natural reliever of pain.  You can add it to lukewarm cow’s milk and consume it with a teaspoon of ground fennel before going to bed if you have a stomach ache. Milk of poppy as a powerful medicine is used as an analgetic and anesthetic, so it should be used moderately.

If you want to increase your body weight, you can consume it regularly for a period of three weeks and feel the results.

Preparation is simple, soak poppy seeds in cold water, blend, strain and consume. You can store it in the refrigerator, closed in a bottle for several days, shake before use.

 Preparation

 for 4 servings

 1 cup of poppy seeds (150 grams)

 3 cups of water (750ml)

 sweetener of choice (honey, dates)

 1 tbsp of vanilla extract

Wash the poppy seeds under cold water, and add to it three cups of cold water. Leave it open at room temperature for at least three hours or overnight. Then transfer the liquid to a blender and blend for a few minutes until the mixture turns white. Strain through gauze and transfer to a bottle. You can keep it in the fridge for several days. Shake before use.

This milk has a beautiful gray-white color with an intense taste and smell of poppy. If desired, you can add honey or dates as a sweetener while blending. You can add this milk to any kind of smoothie (with oats, banana), you can combine it with cow’s milk or use it alone. It does not create bloating, and with the consuming you gonna feel light and full.

It is enough to consume one cup a day.
