If you want to be unique with ideas in the kitchen and always surprise with creativity, then you can turn this simple and quick salad into a real surprise for your guests and enjoy together.
It only takes ten minutes to prepare and you can keep it in the refrigerator for several days wrapped in plastic foil and serve it when needed.
This salad is a traditional salad that my mother prepares very often in our home, I just added a little creativity and served it in my own way.
You can also shape small balls or a bigger one, depending on your creativity and idea.
All you need are a few ingredients and some toasted walnuts and sesame seeds for extra flavor.
Ingredients
100 grams of cottage cheese (or soft cheese, not very salty)
250 grams of cream cheese
80 grams of walnuts (chopped)
3 tablespoons of sesame seeds
1-2 pomegranates for rolling and decoration
In a pan over medium heat, add the finely chopped walnuts and sesame seeds and toast them for a few minutes until they acquire a nice aroma and darken to a nice golden color.
Then mix them with the cottage cheese and cream cheese in a bowl until you get a uniform texture.
Leave it like this for about fifteen minutes in the fridge to set and then shape it into a ball with your hands.
Roll it in pomegranate seeds and serve.
You can store it in a plastic wrap or you can store the prepared mixture in the refrigerator covered and decorated it as needed.
It can be kept for several days in the refrigerator.
Have a good appetite!
