Directions
A dessert fruit whose flavor is further developed to excellence with fresh cheese, burrata. A surprising combination of flavors that complement each other, and a dessert that will give your guests the impression that you are a true professional in the kitchen.
This not at all complicated dessert is served cold and, besides being delicious, is also healthy at the same time.
Of the pear varieties, I recommend using a hard pear (Santa Maria), because it is less juicy and will not release much juice and lose its shape when baking.

Ingredients for 2 desserts
2 pears (Santa Maria)
1 fresh burrata (medium)
30 grams of butter (cubes)
2 tablespoons granulated sugar for sprinkling (or brown sugar)
2 tablespoons honey
chopped walnuts for decoration
chopped dried cranberries for decoration
Cut each pear into three pieces horizontally, 2 cm thick, or four pieces if it is larger. Arrange the chopped pieces on kitchen paper in a pan, put a cube of butter on each pear piece and sprinkle well with 2 tbsp sugar. Bake at 180 degrees for 25 minutes, check them during baking to see if they are soft inside and be careful not to overbake them.
After baking, cool them completely.
Place one piece (bottom) in a dessert plate and place some of the fresh burrata on it. Spread the other two pieces in the same way. Use a small amount of the burrata cheese and less of the liquid stracciatella so that you don’t get it spreads a lot.
Add a teaspoon of honey to each pear, sprinkle with chopped walnuts and chopped dried cranberries.
Decorate with mint leaves and enjoy the delicious dessert.
Enjoy!
