Directions
Simple sweet pleasure with almonds and a fresh note of cream cheese, fast preparation with 5 ingredients.
By choice can be added strawberries or any other fruit you prefer or make it without as healthy variant of tiramisu.
Ingredients
150 grams ground almonds
30 grams melted butter
25 erythritol/stevia
250 grams cream cheese
250 ml heavy cream
1 tbsp vanila extract
You can use ground almonds or grind them in blender. Then add them in a pan with melted butter and sweetener. I love to use coconut sugar in this dessert but if you like keto dessert with low carbs you can use erythritol. Mix all ingredients and add them on low medium heat. Mix from time to time for few minutes until golden brown and lovely almond aroma. The sweetener will combine well with the almonds and the butter. Leave them to cool completely before serving.
With hand mixer, combine the cream cheese and heavy cream for one minute until combine, then add vanilla extract and mix shortly.
For serving it will be nice to use stand glasses. At the bottom add two tbsp of almonds then add thin layer of cream cheese filling and pieces of strawberries. Fill again with cream cheese filling and finish with almonds on the top. Decorate with half strawberries with mint leaves.
Keep in the fridge at least one hour or over night before serving for better flavors.
