One of the most popular, Marzipan has many versions around the world, but this homemade dessert consists of only three ingredients and is prepared in 10 minutes.

All you need is cocoa powder for dusting, honey and almond flour which you can make yourself. I mostly prepared almond flakes in a coffee grinder, almond flour is easily and quickly obtained. Make sure that the grinding is short, otherwise it will stick and collect on the walls. A few turns are enough, sift it and use it like fresh almond flour. Almond flakes are available at most health food stores.

Additionally, you can use almond extract for an authentic aroma. Optionally, you can put an almond in the middle for extra flavor.

Preparation

Sift the almond flour so that you have a nice and smooth texture of the mixture, do not add the large pieces. Into 200 grams almond flour add 2 full spoons of honey and one spoon of almond extract. Mix all the ingredients to get a compact mixture.
It is sticky and it is best to form small balls right away. Put oil on your hands so that the mixture does not stick. If you prefer more rich flavor you can add an almond in the middle of each piece and shape into a ball.
They are easy to shape due to the density and stickiness of the honey.
Leave them in the fridge before rolling them in cocoa powder.
