Grilled Fish with sweet Mango Chutney !

Exotic grilled fish, filled with mango chutney, fresh mint leaves and lemon slices. Crispy skin, juicy soft meat with sweet-spicy flavor.

 

Lovely fish from Ohrid lake, called” Pastrmka”, completed with roasted potatoes and glass of white wine.

Cleaned fish around 250 grams is enough per serving. Season with salt and black pepper from the outside and inside.                Coat well the fish first with olive oil, and then with sweet mango chutney on the outside and on the inside. Fill with fresh mint leaves and sliced fresh lemon.

 

 

Add on grill and bake until you get crispy skin at one side. Best way to know when the meat is ready inside, is to check the belly meat or inside meat. When you get soft meat then turn the fish on it’s back to avoid dropping the filling and breaking the fish. If you use electric grill you can adjust the temperature for easy making the meat and to get crispy skin as you like.

 

 

 

For best result turn the fish only once until you bake.

As side dish prepare mix from one tbsp mango chutney, cherry tomatoes and chopped mint leaves.

Glass of white wine and roasted potatoes will complete all flavors.
