Directions
Did you know that dried plums are far ahead of dried figs, dates, grapes, and apricots due to their strong antioxidant power, so if you consume them in the morning you can have a more productive and energetic morning.
Inspired by chocolate candies that I received as a gift from Ukraine, I decided to share a healthy snack recipe made from this healthy fruit with a crunchy interior, covered in dark chocolate.
All you need is a package of pitted plums, walnut halves as many as you have plums available, and a dark chocolate bar.
The plums needs to be fresh and juicy enough to give these snacks a flavor reminiscent of sour cherries or cherries from the inside.

Ingredients
15 prunes (one package)
15 walnuts (halves)
100 grams dark chocolate
Preparation
Cut the dried plums on one side and open them. This will give you a larger surface area to wrap the walnut nicely. Half of one walnut is enough for the inside of each prune. Use fresh prunes and walnuts for a nice flavor.
After you close them, shape the plums, melt the dark chocolate over steam. When melting chocolate, be careful not to let water get into it.
Remove from heat and dip each plum on all sides into the melted chocolate.
You can use two small spoons to make it easier to remove excess chocolate.
Then place each candy on baking paper to cool down.
Leave the dipped candies for 10 minutes, separated from each other, in the refrigerator and they are ready to be tasted.
You can also serve each snack in small paper baskets and taste when needed.
Enjoy your meal and enjoy this healthy crunchy dessert!
