How to prepare the sweet potato and keep its nutritional values, one of my favorite ways to prepare it is finely chopped with only one spice and prepared this way I usually add it to salads for dinner.
Ingredients
2 sweet potatoes
2 tablespoons cumin seeds
2-3 teaspoons of olive oil
salt to taste
Peel the sweet potato and dice it. Add it to a baking pan. If you chop it into smaller pieces, you will bake it faster. Add olive oil and toss to coat the pieces well with oil. Sprinkle with cumin and salt to taste, mix and place in a heated oven at 180 degrees. The required baking time is about 20 minutes, depending on the size of the pieces. You can check them, if they are soft, the pieces are ready.
You can enjoy the roasted taste and smell of cumin, or I suggest you add them roasted like this to a salad.
