Traditional bagel breakfast with eggs and cheese known as “Ohridski Pojadok” is speciality that is coming from beautiful city Ohrid. For this lovely breakfast is needed bagels, nice European rich butter, eggs and strong sheep cheese. After finishing you can topped with smoked red paprika and combine with your favorite pickles.

For my dish I use green tomato pickles and small red peppers filled with cheese prepared in autumn.

If you decide to prepare this bagels you can find full recipe on the web under the name “Ohridski Gevrek”. Fast preparation and from one dose of 500 grams flour you will make eight beautiful bagels enough for eight portions.

Preparation

Start with adding piece of nice European butter into pan on medium heat. When butter is melted add the bagel and fry from both sides shortly. Then in the same pan add the egg and fry it for two minutes one side.
Serve on plate, fried egg and cover it with prepared bagel, be careful egg yolk to be in the middle of the bagel.
Sprinkle with salt and smoked red paprika.
Finish with cheese and your favorite pickles.
